TimberTop Adventures is proud to be part of the Pledge 1% movement, pledging 1% of product and 1% of sales to help support our community. Pledge 1% is a global movement that encourages companies of all sizes to integrate giving back into their company’s lifestyle. Created in 2014, thousands of companies in almost 100 countries have already pledged 1% of equity, profit, product, or time to give back to their communities.
1% of Product: Every month we set aside the equivalent of 1% of adventure products we sell to support various select charities and organizations. Most of this support is accomplished by donating gift certificates to silent auctions and various fundraising efforts for team and organizations which in turn generally are, or support, customers of TimberTop Adventures. We also support the Big Brothers and Big Sisters organization by offering the Buy One Get One free program so the Big Brothers and Sisters can treat their “Littles” to a special adventure.
1% of Sales: While many of Pledge 1% participating companies donate 1% of profits we’ve decided to go even further choosing to donate 1% of sales instead. With these funds we have chosen to support two organizations that are near and dear to our hearts; the Business Community Anti-Poverty Initiative (BCAPI) and Brilliant Labs.
